In 2024, the renowned Swiss watchmaker Patek Philippe presented a new watch collection, showing once again the
timelessness of their savoir-faire and sophistication, both from a technical and a style-related standpoint.
At Relojeria Alemana, we would like to introduce this new range, called
Cubitus: it harmoniously blends boldness and elegance, successfully achieving the ultimate interpretation of
‘casual chic’, an exclusive
perspective that offers an unrivalled experience. These impeccable timepieces boast a design that is unusual among other Patek Philippe creations, since these have a
square case with a slender profile, an unexpected twist
worthy of the manufacture.
What makes the Cubitus collection unique?
As we mentioned before, the watches in the Cubitus collection feature a square case, the greatest difference between these new models and the majority of the maison's other timepieces. This new range offers three sophisticated
versions in platinum, steel and a combination of steel and rose gold.
All three models have dials in the same style, each sporting a
horizontally embossed motif: the rose gold and platinum models feature a sunburst blue hue, while the steel watch has a sunburst olive green. Also, when it comes to each
timepiece’s dial, the 5822P-001 boasts of an unprecedented combination, displaying the
instantaneous grand date, day, and moon phase
complications.
In keeping with the elegant appearance of these new models, the timepieces with references 5821/1AR and 5821/1A feature a bracelet in their respective alloys —steel and steel with rose gold— which include a
patented fold-over clasp with a lockable adjustment system. The platinum-cased watch ref. 5822P-001 has a navy blue strap in a fabric-patterned composite material, also with a fold-over clasp, but in this case, a platinum one.

If you are interested in the more technical side of horology, you will be thrilled to learn that these pieces feature a self-winding mechanical movement; the designs with references 5821/1AR and 5821/1A
both carry the Calibre 26-330 S C/430, as well as a date aperture. However, in the case of the watch ref. 5822P-001, the Calibre is the 240 PS CI J LU, and as we mentioned earlier, it displays a blend of complications never seen before.
