PATEK PHILIPPE ITINERANT COLLECTION IN MALLORCA

A sensory journey at an omakase bar: savoir-faire, time, and precision

The Patek Philippe Traveling Collection is one of the most important events on the international haute horlogerie calendar. This temporary exhibition constitutes an exceptional opportunity to admire the mastery of the manufacture through an extensive selection of timepieces brought together in a single time and place. It is an encounter with the Maison's savoir-faire that is rarely matched in the day-to-day life of a boutique.
At Relojería Alemana, we have organized an exclusive event to present this selection in a setting that shares the values of rigor and excellence of the Geneva-based manufacturer. For this occasion, we are bringing the experience to the omakase bar at Kno-Ma in Palma, establishing a true parallel between the precision of watchmaking savoir-faire and the technical execution of signature Japanese haute cuisine.

The ‘Omakase’ Concept: Trust and Precision

The choice of an omakase format (which in Japanese means putting yourself in the hands of the master) was far from accidental. There is a direct analogy between the client who relies on the expertise of a Patek Philippe master watchmaker and the diner who surrenders to the chef's technique—in this case, Miguel Rodríguez, the chef at Kno-Ma.

The event took place in an exclusive setting, designed to ensure that the timepieces remained the center of attention. The Kno-Ma bar in Mallorca was transformed into a technical exhibition space where every visual element was carefully curated to facilitate the observation and enjoyment of Haute Horlogerie in a calm and orderly atmosphere.

The staging integrated the timepieces organically through subtle details that reinforced the Maison's narrative. A curated aesthetic where the technical presence of the watches coexisted in harmony with the surroundings, maintaining the sophistication and rigor that define Patek Philippe and Relojería Alemana.

Dialogue Between Haute Horlogerie and Signature Cuisine in Mallorca

Throughout the evening, each course was conceived as a technical dialogue between gastronomy and watchmaking. Kno-Ma chef Miguel Rodríguez executed a menu designed specifically for this encounter, where every dish reflected the complexity of Patek Philippe’s collections through elaborate preparation times and precise cutting techniques that resonated with the meticulous nature of the manufacture's complications.
Under the guidance of Jordi Arteaga, Sales Manager at Relojería Alemana, and Sukeina El Badaoui, Deputy Sales Manager, the evening transformed into a genuine dialogue where our team's technical expertise and the chef's culinary proposal converged to convey the Maison's philosophy. This synergy allowed the excellence of Patek Philippe to integrate naturally into the event, offering an authentic perspective on its collections and a truly unique experience.

Pureness of Calatrava and the Femininity of the Twenty~4 in an ‘Omakase’ Setting

The timelessness of the Calatrava line was evident in the 61196P model on display, complemented by various Calatrava references from our stock that highlighted the collection’s aesthetic restraint. Similarly, contemporary feminine elegance took center stage with the Twenty~4 7340/1R-010 from the Traveling Collection, whose olive green dial and rose gold case harmonized with the event’s aesthetic.
