Watches and Wonders is the global stage where Rolex once again reveals its perpetual vision of time. In this 2025 edition, the Swiss watchmaker introduces a selection of new timepieces that combine technical rigour, refined aesthetics, and an innovative spirit. From Relojeria Alemana, we were there to experience them firsthand—and now, we bring them to you.

Land-Dweller: the beginning of a new era

The main highlight of this year’s releases is the Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller, a timepiece that marks a turning point in the Rolex collection. Its clean, contemporary design is elevated by the new Flat Jubilee bracelet, seamlessly integrated into the redesigned case to create a smooth, harmonious silhouette.
The new Land-Dweller is available in two sizes—36 mm and 40 mm—and in three versions: white Rolesor, 18 ct Everose gold, and 950 platinum with an ice blue dial featuring a hexagonal motif. Each model stands out with a distinct identity, defined by precision and timeless elegance.

Calibre 7135 and Dynapulse escapement: a breakthrough in innovation

At the heart of the Land-Dweller lies the new Calibre 7135, entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. This automatic movement features an avant-garde architecture and the innovative Dynapulse escapement, made of silicon and protected by several patents.
Operating at a frequency of 5 Hz (36,000 vibrations per hour), it enables readings to a tenth of a second without compromising autonomy—offering a power reserve of approximately 66 hours. Visible through the transparent case back, the movement reveals meticulous finishing such as the oscillating weight in yellow gold and the Côtes de Genève Rolex decoration.

New Versions of Iconic Models

At Watches and Wonders 2025, Rolex not only introduces the Land-Dweller, but also breathes new life into some of its most iconic models, with updates that combine the best of its tradition and technical innovation. Among the novelties, we find enhanced versions of the 1908, Cosmograph Daytona, Datejust 31, Sky-Dweller, and GMT-Master II, which stand out for their exclusive details, new materials, and designs that reflect the brand's ongoing evolution.
The 1908 is redefined with an exclusive Settimo bracelet for this collection. Made from 18-karat yellow gold, the bracelet is composed of seven delicately polished links, evoking the aesthetic of antique jewelry bracelets. This evolution reaffirms the refined character of the 1908, a piece that pays tribute to the purest tradition of Swiss watchmaking.
