Chopard has decided to show the world the intricate work they do every day at their
manufacture in Flourier, in the Val-de-Travers.
Through a series of
short films under the title Meet our Artisans,
Chopard reveals the efforts of their artisans, as well as the emotion that lies behind each one of the crafts these men and women master with considerable expertise.
Know-how and feeling in the hands of Chopard’s artisans
With ‘Meet our Artisans’, Caroline and Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, co-presidents of Chopard, show us the brand’s most intimate part of the creative process.
We then enter the high jewellery workshops, where we will be able to admire each step as genius is born, starting with the sketches, going through 3D construction, sculpture, choosing the gemstones and,
finally, finishing the process by creating and setting the piece of jewellery. Alongside Laura, a jewellery model-making artisan; and Anthony, a jewellery-sculpting artisan, we will be able to see how dreams
become physical renderings and they, on their part, serve as a guide to interpret precious metals and gemstones.
‘Meet our Artisans’ also gives us carte blanche to marvel at this homage to watchmaking tradition; one that, since 1996, Chopard’s artisans in Fleurier have been executing flawlessly without pause from their
workshops with a view of the mountains. We can understand better the uniqueness of Chopard watches simply by watching closely the expertise displayed by Rodeline, a watch-polishing artisan; the search for
beauty that motivates Mo, a design-drafting artisan; or the unwavering vocation of Christophe, a grand complications watchmaker.

These experienced hands adept at innovation are the creators of Chopard flagships such as Happy Sport, a sport watch collection for women that boast of an unprecedented boldness.
