RELOJERÍA ALEMANA REOPENS ITS LIFELONG STORE ON CALLE COLÓN

A new space that reinvents the concept of watchmaking-jewellery

The Relojería Alemana store on Colón reopens with a new concept
A few months after closing the shop at 14 Calle Colón, in Palma, for renovations, Relojería Alemana has reopened the doors of its new and innovative boutique with hopeful anticipation. The legendary space, which first opened in 1879, is again ready to welcome those who are fond of watches and jewellery with an interior that has been completely renovated and designed to be closer than ever to the client.

The revival of a unique space in Palma

An original and exclusive store concept that once again consolidates Relojería Alemana as a reference within the sector, both in the Balearic Islands and at the international level.
Three spacious floors welcome the client, divided into sections associated with the leading watch brand: Rolex, Patek Philippe, Tudor, Panerai, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Hublot and Tag Heuer have their own areas inside the Relojería Alemana shop on Colón. The expertise, tradition and personality of these iconic brands materialise as corners that are part of each firm’s universe. Spaces to discover their new collections, be provided with personalised advice or acquire a unique piece.
The second floor accommodates the technical service with four expert watchmakers. Relojería Alemana cannot be understood without its characteristic relationship with its clients, which sometimes spans generations of a same family. This loyalty and legacy are celebrated at the official repair shop of Rolex, Patek Philippe and Hublot, among other brands, where repair and return services are managed.

The essence of Relojería Alemana in a boutique

“We always say that our motto is ‘tradition, evolution’. With this new space we want to offer our clients a unique and exclusive experience, bringing them closer than ever to the watchmaking trade without forgetting our roots”, proclaims Pablo Fuster, CEO of Relojería Alemana, proudly.
The Ohlab architectural studio was entrusted with leading this exciting project. A complete refurbishment that plays with the choice of quality materials, light and a fully innovative design. Besides, the store has several bar counters and a cocktail list prepared together with the prestigious barman Rafa Martín from Brass Club for clients to enjoy.
To round it off, the characteristic first-floor area known as “the lounge”, which clients and friends are so fond of, maintains its classic look. A sincere tribute to this century-old company, which keeps its essence and commemorates the beginnings of Relojería Alemana.

A legacy sustained across the generations

Relojería Alemana was founded in 1879 and eventually became a true worldwide reference. The brand’s main pillars, quality, tradition and renovation, alongside the selection of unique pieces of jewellery and the most exclusive watch brands, have consolidated its growth.
This translates into new stores in places as emblematic as Paseo del Borne or Puerto Portals, but also into the renovation and careful maintenance of the iconic establishment on Calle Colón, in the centre of Palma.
Blanca, Paula and Pablo Fuster are the fourth generation in charge of Relojería Alemana and have enjoyed the opportunity of celebrating the 143rd anniversary of the brand in 2022. Their unwavering commitment to know-how, the family legacy and their capacity for innovation has allowed them to contribute a new perspective that adapts to current times and to a highly demanding public. A genuine transformation of the traditional buying experience based on personalised assistance and attention to every detail.
